ABOUT THE PLAY: Described as one of 鈥渢he greatest American plays ever written,鈥 Thornton Wilder鈥檚 Our Town presents the small town of Grover鈥檚 Corners in three acts: 鈥淒aily Life,鈥 鈥淟ove and Marriage,鈥 and 鈥淒eath and Eternity.鈥 At first glance, Our Town appears to be a simple, innocuous portrait of life in a small town. But as time passes in the three acts鈥攁n ordinary day, a wedding, a death鈥攖he play builds to a soaring exploration of human existence.
