Eligibility

The following are the eligibility requirements for work-study.

  • In order to be employed on campus utilizing State, Federal or Institutional funds, a student must always be enrolled at least half-time (six credits*).
  • Completed the FAFSA and awarded work-study funds on your award notification in eServices
  • No academic/financial aid hold

*Summer term

  • In order to be employed on campus during the summer utilizing State, Federal or Institutional funds, a student must be enrolled at least six summer credits, or six fall credits. If a student is not enrolled in six summer credits but six fall credits, their eligibility will be dependent on what is left from the previous fall and spring term.
  • No academic/financial aid hold
  • Summer work study is split into two different sessions. The first session starts from the end of spring semester through June 30, and the second session starts July 1. In order for the student employee to continue, they must have completed their FAFSA for the new academic year, be awarded work-study funds, and be approved to work by the work-study coordinator.

Application process

  1. Please apply from the active positions listed below.
  2. If hired, complete the Work Study Authorization form with the supervisor and return the signed form along with the W4 and I9 forms and proof of identification to the Financial Aid Office.
  3. Wait for an email from the Work Study Coordinator to confirm your eligibility prior to starting the job. Allow 7-10 business days for approval.
